Clearly, General Manager Kent Hughes will have to continue working hard to keep his team competitive and in a possible run for the playoffs.

Another setback has hit the organization, which loses another defenseman due to injury.

It's incredible how bad luck doesn't stop.

"Game #2 - Kirby Dach gets injured
Game #3 - Kaiden Guhle gets injured
Game #5 - David Savard gets injured

If this trend continues, the CH won't see any improvement in player absenteeism this season..."

Indeed, the organization just lost ANOTHER defenseman in David Savard. See the last-minute official announcement.

"Defenseman David Savard will be sidelined for an indefinite period due to an upper-body injury."

Montreal Canadiens

Generally, an indefinite period implies a serious injury.
