There's been a lot of action and announcements at the start of this week for the Montreal Canadiens.

Firstly, we have three pieces of bad news to announce.

- Arber Xhekaj was not at the morning practice today.

- Jordan Harris, who had just returned to play, was also not on the ice and he does not seem to be at 100%.

- Rafaël Harvey-Pinard has been placed on the injured list. Ouch.

This explains the call-up of Jayden Struble, especially since the team is about to fly to California.

There's worse.

The Canadiens have just announced that Arber Xhekaj and RHP will not join the team today for the trip.

«The Canadiens announce that Arber Xhekaj and Rafael Harvey-Pinard will not travel today.»

- Eric Engels

Therefore, we should not expect to see Xhekaj back in action anytime soon. The CH plays in Anaheim on Wednesday, in San Jose on Friday, and in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The next opportunity for Xhekaj to return to play would be on Wednesday, November 29, in Columbus, or on November 30 at the Bell Centre against the Florida Panthers.

To be followed, but clearly, Xhekaj will be absent longer than expected.

Details to follow.
