We have another potential piece of bad news to watch for regarding injuries to the Montreal Canadiens.

Forward Kirby Dach has just left the game and headed to his team's locker room after a very questionable hit from Ridly Greig of the Ottawa Senators.

Greig of the Ottawa Senators hit Dach very high, and it seems to have caused some damage.

Indeed, the bad luck continues to plague Martin St-Louis' team.

See the sequence in question.

A few minutes later, young defenseman Jayden Struble made sure to send a clear message to Greig.

No need to remind that the Habs' second line has already lost a key piece, as forward Patrik Laine will be out for 2 to 3 months, so a Kirby Dach injury would be truly disastrous.

In short, once again, we will closely monitor the next medical update from the Habs for you.

Let's really hope for good news regarding Dach, and in any case, rest assured that you will be the first to know.

At 23 years old, Dach recorded 2 points in 2 games with the Montreal Canadiens last season before suffering a serious knee injury. He is undoubtedly a very important piece of Martin St-Louis' offense.

Big Update for Dach

After a questionable hit, Kirby returned to start the second period and scored a goal!
