16 year old football player tragically passes away mid game after suffering head injury
The sports world is in mourning. This is the kind of news that touches us to the core and the kind of news we wish we never had to report.
A young football player from Alabama, named Caden Tellier, has sadly passed away due to a severe injury sustained during Friday night's game.
A head injury.
As the high school teams of Southern Academy and Morgan Academy faced off, 16-year-old quarterback Caden Tellier was hit hard.
This contact caused a brain injury, and the young player was urgently airlifted to the hospital, but it was already too late.

It was indeed via social media that Caden Tellier's family shared the heartbreaking news.
It came directly from his parents.

It was truly a brain injury that tragically led to his death:
