In typical Leafs fashion, (after losing to the Sens again) the game against the Senators turned into a circus. Rookie Ridley Grieg had the nerve to take a slapshot at an empty net in the final moments, causing chaos.
Morgan Rielly, the Leafs' so-called hero, stepping in, cross-checked Greig right in the face, and is now staring down at a possible lengthy suspension.
Rielly went for Grieg's head with a cross-check, clear as day and totally out of line.
The brawl between both teams kicked off after just to add more drama to another Leafs' loss at the hands of the Ottawa Senators.
