Four Players Hit Waivers, Including a Former Cup Winner, and Could Be an Intriguing Option for the Habs
About 48 hours before the famous NHL trade deadline, there has been some action on the waiver wire.
As reported by insider Elliotte Friedman, four players are available for free today.
"Oesterle (BOS), Puljujarvi (FLA), Vrana (WASH) on waivers.
Puljujarvi is on waivers because he signed a two-way contract with the Panthers.
Fischer (DET) has also been placed on waivers."

Speaking of waivers, it's also worth mentioning that Cam Atkinson and Logan Brown (Tampa Bay) were not claimed in the last few hours.
"Jesse Puljujarvi's contract with the Panthers is a two-way deal for the remainder of the season, paying him a prorated amount of $775,000 at the NHL level."
