So, three young players from the Eagles were involved in a car accident yesterday afternoon.

The scene was not pleasant to witness and was certainly concerning, but the latest updates are positive and reassuring.

The Eagles Provide Details on the Car Accident

Forwards Angelo Fullerton and Lucas Romeo, along with defenseman Brayden Schmitt, were in Cape Breton (Nova Scotia) when they were involved in a collision with other vehicles.

The three young players were taken to St. Martha's Regional Hospital.

Two of the players involved (Angelo Fullerton and Lucas Romeo) have been discharged from the hospital at the time of writing, while defenseman Brayden Schmitt is still hospitalized.

«For now, we are awaiting additional information from the doctors and are monitoring the situation day by day,» said Eagles GM Sylvain Couturier, as reported by TVA Sports.

At the moment, everything suggests that the worst has been avoided and that the injuries are not too serious for everyone involved in the accident.

We are still keeping Brayden Schmitt in our thoughts, as he remains in the hospital.

With a little less than three weeks until the start of the QMJHL regular season, we wish them a full recovery as soon as possible.
