For several years, EA Sports has been having fun predicting, through its NHL game, the future of players and teams. These will have new competitors with the rise of Artificial Intelligence.
In this respect, the Puck Empire page recently tried to predict the winners (and losers) of the Stanley Cups, from 2023 to 2030. You may be interested to see that the CH shows up twice in this ranking...
Indeed, Montreal, according to their predictions, will lose to the Vancouver Canucks in 2028 before lifting the coveted trophy the following year, in 2029, against the Seattle Kraken.
It's also interesting to see, as pointed out by the site HF, that Canada will host 4 of the next 8 Stanley Cup champions. After a drought of 30 years (i.e. in 1993 by the CH), no one will complain about seeing the country celebrate a bit!
It will be interesting to see, in the coming years, who between EA Sport or Puck Empire will be right in their simulations!
