During a press conference held in the last few minutes, Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper announced some bad news.
Major news for his team.
Since the beginning of the series, many experts have been talking about the crucial importance of Erik Cernak for the Lightning and for Andrei Vasilevskiy.
His absence really hurts Tampa, but the Lightning players were happy to learn the day before yesterday that Cernak was getting really close to a return to play.
There was hope that he would come back, and it could have changed everything for them, but no.
Cooper has just announced that Cernak will NOT be playing in tomorrow's game. Ouch.
"Jon Cooper has ruled out Erik Cernak for tomorrow night's Game 6 in Tampa."
Lightning Insider
This is good news for the Leafs, who will try at all costs to avoid a Game #7.
Imagine if they lose! Who do you think will win?
