The show is incredible, and it's very intense.
Moreover, following the hostilities of the last game, we witnessed a bizarre scene at the press conference, as Lightning head coach Jon Cooper was asked the most ridiculous question of his career. His reaction said a lot.
Recall that during game three, Brayden Point was injured after violently hitting the boards early in the third period (following a contact with Morgan Rielly).
Point was in pain, but he eventually returned to the game, against all odds.
After the game, at the press conference, Cooper was insultingly questioned by a journalist who suggested that Point's injury was an attempt to manipulate the referees.
You read that right.
Cooper was actually asked if Point's pain was an attempt to manipulate the referees.
He couldn't believe it. This question was inappropriate given that Point clearly had pain and that this contact could have been very dangerous.
