As my colleague Alex Desrosiers points out, the most significant part of Bergeron's statement is when he revealed that he played the entire series with a significant herniated disc.
He played despite that, and he played very well! A true professional!
Everything indicates that Bergy has played his final game in the NHL but we'll wait for an official confirmation.
A situation to closely follow with the Bruins, and we cannot emphasize enough how much we have the utmost respect for the person and the hockey player that is Patrice Bergeron.
