The Toronto Maple Leafs are on the brink of elimination from the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and things aren't looking very good for them at the moment. As the Florida Panthers outplay them in every aspect of the game, it's no surprise the Panthers have become many people's favorites to win the cup. These new odds, however, might just push Leafs fans over the edge.
Panthers the Favorites to Win the Stanley Cup
After being down 3-1 in the quarterfinal series against Boston, the Florida Panthers have managed an incredible playoff run. Now, with the Leafs on the brink of elimination and trailing 3-0, how have their odds shaped up? The Athletic is here to tell us.
This news probably won't make Leafs fans too happy, particularly since this is a franchise that never loses hope. Many believed the Leafs would be unstoppable after their historic first-round win against Tampa Bay, but that seems far from the truth now.
We'll have to wait and see if the betting odds prove accurate, or if another team will ultimately win it all.
