Matthew Tkachuk breaks a Stanley Cup rule and he could be in big trouble for it
The Florida Panthers forward, Matthew Tkachuk, is said to have broken a Stanley Cup rule.
Some reports even mention a possible sanction for Tkachuk.
As part of the Panthers' celebrations, after winning the coveted trophy against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers, Matthew Tkachuk did something that quickly went viral.
He submerged the Stanley Cup in the Atlantic Ocean.

It was simply funny, and a beautiful moment of celebration.
However, recent reports indicate that Matthew Tkachuk might be in a bit of hot water because of this gesture.
Tkachuk also mentioned this in an interview:
It was the day after the victory, I still hadn't slept at that point, and it was just me and a few of my teammates. We had no one with us to say, 'Matthew, don't be an idiot, don't do that.' So I thought it was appropriate, but if I had known I wasn't supposed to do it, I wouldn't have done it, but also, I think it's pretty funny."

Personally, I also think it was pretty funny, and if Matthew Tkachuk ever gets fined for it, I'm convinced he will pay the penalty with great pleasure (even though I really don't think it deserves a sanction).
