Big day for General Manager Kent Hughes today, who worked hard to bring reinforcements and assistance to the Laval Rocket.

He announced a few minutes ago the acquisition of forward Filip Cederqvist from the Buffalo Sabres.

A justified acquisition.

"The Rocket suddenly lost the services of 3 forwards for the long term (Farrell, Légaré, Bourque) and their depth was affected.
This perhaps explains why the CH obtained a certain Filip Cederqvist, who was playing with the Sabres' affiliate, in exchange for future considerations."

The Rocket needed it. In short, Kent Hughes has made another move!

A second trade in a few minutes

Now, in his role as General Manager of the Laval Rocket, Hughes has just made the following trade.

"The Laval Rocket announced they have acquired defenseman Chris Jandric from the Rochester Americans in exchange for defenseman Noah Laaouan. [...]" - Laval Rocket

Another player from the Buffalo Sabres' organization arrives in Montreal!

Jandric, 25 years old, has 8 points in 12 games in Jacksonville and 1 point in 1 game with the Sabres' farm team last season.

He was productive in the NCAA at North Dakota. (33 points in 39 games in 2022-23)
