BREAKING: Kent Hughes has just placed a new CH player on the trade market and it is veteran goaltender Casey DeSmith
During his press conference of the day, live from the Montreal Canadiens' golf tournament, general manager Kent Hughes made a clear statement regarding one of his new players.
Casey DeSmith is on the trade market.
Even though he is a brand new member of the CH organization, DeSmith could actually be traded again.
"We are open to making a trade at the beginning of the season."
- Kent Hughes on Casey DeSmith
DeSmith, 32 years old, is a 6-foot tall, 181-pound goaltender. Last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, he had a record of 15-16-4, an average of 3.17, and a save percentage of 0.905. (0.912 in his career)
He was acquired by the Canadiens about a month ago.
