Trade Alert for Forward Daniel Sprong
Check out what the Sportsnet insider just reported.
«I'm told Daniel Sprong is heading back to Seattle in exchange for future considerations.» - Elliotte Friedman
Here's the official announcement from the Vancouver Canucks:
«General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that forward Daniel Sprong has been traded to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for future considerations.»
Sprong's stay in Vancouver was indeed brief.
This player remains a mystery to many experts. Despite being an incredible offensive talent, and producing a lot given his limited minutes, he's constantly traded or let go by his teams.
We've just seen proof of this again, as the Canucks have literally just parted ways with him.
Daniel Sprong, 27, is a 6-foot, 195-pound forward. Over the past two seasons, he tallied 43 points in 76 games with the Detroit Red Wings (18 goals) and 46 points in 66 games (21 goals) with the Seattle Kraken.
For a player who sees so few minutes, his offensive production is truly impressive.
This season, he had three points in nine games with Vancouver.
