On that note, numerous rumors have been linking the Montreal Canadiens and the New Jersey Devils for another trade over the past few days, and now we have an additional clue pointing in that direction.
Since the return from the Four Nations Faceoff break, one team, in particular, has been closely monitoring the Montreal Canadiens.
We're obviously talking about the New Jersey Devils. And that's a clue that rarely misleads.

It will be interesting to see which scouts will be present in Buffalo tonight, but I have a strong feeling that the New Jersey Devils will once again be well represented.
That's usually a pretty reliable indicator.
André Savard and Al Santilli are two of the most trusted men of the Devils' GM, so it seems evident that Kent Hughes and Tom Fitzgerald are currently negotiating a trade.
Among the names to watch are Simon Nemec, Dawson Mercer, Jake Evans, Joel Armia, David Savard, Christian Dvorak, and potentially Logan Mailloux.
