Major statement on a trade for Martin Necas and it involves Joshua Roy
As the name of Martin Necas continues to circulate with the Montreal Canadiens, here is an interesting proposal involving Joshua Roy, Kirby Dach, and Necas.
A trio proposal from Jean-Charles Lajoie.
Via an article in which he reveals his favorite target for Kent Hughes, between Martin Necas and Trevor Zegras, JiC mentions this:
"There is no doubt in my mind that Zegras's natural talent is superior to Necas's. But it also seems obvious to me that the overall skill set of Necas is more appealing for Gorton and Hughes's plan."

A trio composed of Kirby Dach, Martin Necas, and Joshua Roy?
After mentioning that his choice would be Necas, the TVA Sports host goes a bit further, assembling a trio that could indeed be very interesting for head coach Martin St-Louis.
"My choice would be to get Martin Necas, whom I already see making a lot of noise on the Canadiens' second line alongside a healthy Kirby Dach and, why not, Joshua Roy..."

Martin Necas, 25, is a restricted free agent. He amassed 53 points in 77 games this season and 71 points in 82 games last season.
During the 2024 playoffs, he collected a solid nine points in 11 games.
