Martin Lemay proposes a trade between the Canadiens and Penguins involving Sidney Crosby, Cole Caufield, and first-round picks

The host mentioned that he would trade Cole Caufield and two first-round picks to acquire the Pittsburgh Penguins' captain.

Wow!

«If I were the Canadiens, I would call [Kyle] Dubas and tell him: two first-round picks and Cole Caufield (for Sidney Crosby).»

Lemay then insisted that he would make this trade tomorrow morning and isn't even sure it would be enough for the Penguins, offering Caufield and two first-round picks in exchange for Sidney Crosby.

He pointed out that people overlook all the ripple effects such an acquisition could have for the Montreal Canadiens.

Crosby, 37, has 58 points in 55 games this season with the Penguins. He is absolutely still an elite player.
