Remember that no later than last year, Shane Wright slid down to the 4th overall pick.
In 2019, Trevor Zegras nearly slipped out of the top-10. And we obviously skip several others.
If the Anaheim Ducks draft (for example) Matvei Michkov, it could absolutely shake everything up. We're talking about the team that drafted Pavel Mintyukov (originally from Moscow) with their 10th overall pick no later than last year.
And yes, some experts send Fantilli with the Montreal Canadiens in their "mock draft".
So we can dream a little, and the CH executives are preparing for this scenario.
Let's not forget that a trade is also possible.
Fantilli, 18 years old, 6 feet 2 inches and 195 pounds, has racked up an incredible 65 points (30 goals) in 36 games this season in the NCAA.
