We're going to defend him a bit.
Yesterday, Bedard gave a rare press conference in front of the national media, and he was obviously questioned about the possibility of being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks.
Here's his response:
The youngster, only 17 years old, went on to praise the history of the Hawks organization.
So where's the controversy? It's right there.
Many fans, and even some journalists, have harshly criticized young Bedard for his response, because of the history of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Let's be very clear, the reprehensible actions of the organization over the past 10 years should be forcefully denounced.
But why blame Bedard? Is it his fault?
Yes, he praised the history of the Hawks, but it seems obvious that he simply wanted to provide a nice politician answer to talk about his very probable new organization. That's all.
Is he aware of The past decade of Hawks criminal acts? The organization covered up sex abuse of players
