Today, Coach Jim Montgomery disclosed an initial analysis of Derek Forbort's injury, and sadly, the most adverse outcome has been substantiated.
Forbort Absent for the Remaining Regular Season
Forbort incurred a lower-body injury as he blocked a shot during a game in Buffalo last Saturday. Puck Empire reports that the Bruins have now confirmed Forbort will miss the rest of the regular season.
We will see if Forbort will recover in time to join the Bruins for a potential deep playoff run.
