Transaction alert involving forward Lars Eller
The Washington Capitals and the Colorado Avalanche have just completed a trade.
Center Lars Eller is going to the Avalanche, and as many journalists have already pointed out, this will have a direct impact on the Montreal Canadiens since Colorado was the preferred destination to acquire Sean Monahan.
In return, Washington will receive a 2025 2nd round pick.
Lars Eller is traded to Colorado.
Probably due to Monahan's injury, the Avalanche's management has turned to another center player, and their acquisition at center has finally been Lars Eller.
It fills their need.
More details will follow.
