We are truly at a loss for words.
They are simply writing about what happened, and it's chilling. There are no images, but still, honestly, sensitive hearts should refrain.
An extremely dangerous overtake led to the death of Johnny Gaudreau and his younger brother Matthew
See their account of the facts. It hits hard.
«The accident occurred around 8:30 PM on Pennsville Auburn Road near Stumpy Lane in Oldmans Township.
Johnny, 31 years old, and Matthew, 29 years old, were riding their bikes northbound on County Route 551, near the line on the side of the road.
Sean M. Higgins, 43, from Woodstown, New Jersey, was driving northbound on this road, in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, when he allegedly attempted to overtake a sedan and an SUV that were driving more slowly.
According to the police, Higgins entered the southbound lanes of the road and overtook the sedan.
When he tried to return to the northbound lanes, the police stated that the SUV in front of him moved to the middle of the road, separating the north and southbound lanes in order to safely overtake two cyclists on the right side of the road.
Higgins then attempted to overtake the SUV on the right and struck the Gaudreau brothers from behind, according to the police.
The Gaudreau brothers died from their injuries, according to State Police.»

Honestly, I have goosebumps just reading it again.
Basically, it seems to have happened on a country road, and the car in front of Sean Higgins slowed down and moved to the center of the road in order to safely overtake the two cyclists (Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau).
The reckless driver apparently lost patience and aggressively overtook the SUV on the right, but he never saw the cyclists.
He then fatally struck them from behind.
Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau had absolutely no chance.
I'm telling you this, and my fingers are honestly shaking on the keyboard right now. Just imagining the scene gives me chills.
We truly, sincerely want to send positive vibes to all his loved ones, but especially to his wife and children.
They are going to need it.
