Guillaume Lepage, from the NHL, shared some great info and taught us a lot about Michael Hage, one of the Montreal Canadiens' top prospects. At 18 years old, he is having a stellar season with the University of Michigan in the NCAA.

In 27 games, he already has 12 goals and 30 points. That puts him first on his team and 25th in the entire NCAA.

What's impressive is that Hage is achieving this without having big names around him.

Michigan's team lost key players like Gavin Brindley, Rutger McGroarty, and Dylan Duke. Despite that, Hage is carrying the team on his shoulders.

It's rare to see a rookie player have such an impact in the NCAA.

Michael Hage's head coach confirms that the Canadiens made a great move by acquiring him in the draft

His coach, Brandon Naurato, is very impressed by him.

He didn't understand why Hage wasn't even invited to Team Canada's selection camp for the World Junior Championship.

According to him, Hage would be a 150-point player if he played in the Canadian Hockey League.

You read that right.

150 points is huge, I'm not sure about that and it might be an exaggeration, but it shows just how much his coach believes in him.

Hage is already seen as a player who could become the Canadiens' second-line center in a few years.

With his talent, his 6-foot-1 frame, and his ability to make big plays, it's clear this guy will need to be closely watched.

To me, he's a player who could truly make a difference in the Canadiens' future. Hage is the kind of prospect that would fire up the fans!

Would you trade Michael Hage for Cayden Lindstrom (4th overall pick in 2024)?
