Before starting the article, I want to emphasize that I love Marc-André Fleury and he is probably my favorite player.

That said, while the Montreal Canadiens have a serious surplus of goalies, here is the former goaltender coach of the team asking Kent Hughes to add another one.

It's true that a Fleury/Samuel Montembeault tandem would be extraordinary, but there are already a lot of goalies with the Canadiens.

See the post below from RDS, in which Stéphane Waite suggests acquiring Marc-André Fleury for next season, when his contract will have expired.

In theory, it's exciting, but before thinking about adding a goalie, we will have to start by resolving the three goalie situation because Montembeault needs to play more, not less.

If Kent Hughes gets good returns for Jake Allen AND for Cayden Primeau this summer, maybe Fleury could be a good option to pair with Samuel, but we are far from there currently.

Was it suggested lightly, just for laughs? Maybe, but the RDS publication doesn't really indicate that. (and yes, it does get a reaction)
