Since being traded to the Laval Rocket, Cedric Paquette has been very successful with the Canadiens' training camp.
While he had only two assists in 24 games with the big club, the Quebec forward has scored seven goals in eight games in the AHL.
As reported by Alex Néron of Fanadiens.com; former Habs scout Grant McCagg believes Paquette deserves a recall to the big club. And he's absolutely right.
According to him, the Quebec forward would have more place in the lineup than Mike Hoffman. The number 68, although recognized as a natural scorer, has scored only 11 goals this season and he has not scored in his last 15 games.
This statement is a slap in the face to Hoffman. Especially since he and Paquette do not necessarily advocate the same style of play.
Do you agree with the former Habs scout on this subject?
