There's no denying, Marc Bergevin's final year of contract isn't exactly going according to plan so far. Just a few months after making the Stanley Cup Final, the Habs are in last place in their division, with just three wins in twelve games.

With less and less of a chance to be back with the team next season, tipster Andrew Zadarnowski took the opportunity to list the positives and negatives of Marc Bergevin's time as the Tricolore's general manager.

On the negative side, Zadarnowski points to Marc Bergevin's inability to develop his top prospects. While this problem is not solely his fault, one only has to look at the Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Ryan Poehling and Alex Galchenyuk of this world to prove him right.

In addition to development, Zadarnowski also mentions the Mikhail Sergachev for Jonathan Drouin trade, the disastrous Karl Alzner signing, and the Habs' inconsistency from year to year.

It's not all bad news, though, as the tipster also points to Marc Bergevin's impressive ability to win his trades. For example, the trade of P.K. Subban for Shea Weber, the trade of Jeff Petry, and countless personnel moves to improve the team's depth, including helping the team reach the Stanley Cup Final last year.

In conclusion, Bergevin may have some flaws, but he will still be a man in demand at the end of his current contract, and it will be interesting to see if he can move up to a position even higher than GM with his next organization.
