Last Sunday, Cedric Paquette made a really dangerous move on Trevor Zegras of the Anaheim Ducks. He heavily checked the young colt from behind. Fortunately, Zegras was not seriously injured on the sequence.

Paquette was suspended for two games following this gesture.

However, you have to admit that Paquette reacted in the best way possible, by finishing his relevance. He admitted that he made an error of judgment. He seems to have learned from his mistakes.

With a smile and humility, he delivered these nice comments:

"You never want to miss games, whether it's in the stands or being suspended, it hurts. I thought I was fine, but I was forced to miss two games. It's part of the game, you move on."

He was even relieved to know that Zegras was not seriously injured on the sequence. He is aware that his action was really dangerous.

"I'm going to be careful with those checks there, they're not legal. I'm VERY happy that the kid (Zegras) wasn't seriously injured."

This shows great maturity and incredible class on the part of Cedric Paquette. He hasn't been with the Montreal Canadiens long, so we don't know much about him, but it seems like he's a good guy.
