Who will be the new general manager of the Montreal Canadiens? Mathieu Darche? Daniel Brière? Martin Madden Jr? One thing is for sure, it won't be Stéphane Quintal.
The former Blue-White-Red player is currently working as senior vice president of player safety for the NHL. He had not hidden his desire to take Geoff Molson's place as president of the Canadiens, but general manager? Forget it!
The reason? He doesn't have enough experience with an NHL team.
Let's face it, such a responsibility is not easy. It's an art to become a general manager, it takes will, character and passion for hockey, especially for the Montreal Canadiens.
When will Patrick Roy get the call? He's waiting for it 😉
