A few hours before the highly anticipated match-up between the Montreal Canadiens and the Florida Panthers, we have just received some information about the line-up that will be used by Martin St-Louis.

First, please note that, unfortunately, the Montreal Canadiens' promising new young defenseman, Justin Barron, will have to wait before playing his first game with his new team.

Too bad, I was really looking forward to see him in action, but it's only a postponement in his case. He mentioned it yesterday, he is looking forward to play and was hoping to play tonight, but he respects the process.

His first speech got a lot of reaction, by the way:

Also of note for tonight's game:

- The CH's other new defenseman, William Lagesson, will also be left out tonight, as will Quebec forward Mathieu Perreault.

- Tyler Pitlick, acquired in the trade that sent Tyler Toffoli to the Calgary Flames, will finally play his first game in a blue-white uniform tonight.

- Nick Suzuki and Jonathan Drouin were not on the ice this morning. More details to come in their case.

- Jake Allen will be the starting goalie for the Habs against the Panthers.
