The Habs could see their season go to waste this year, especially with their rough start. Dominique Ducharme's team is playing below expectations, which could push the leaders to make some important decisions.
Earlier this week, the team decided to send young Cole Caufield to the Laval Rocket, which could become a trend with the Habs.
Stu Cowan, a journalist who covers the Habs, expressed his desire for the Habs to send all their young players to Laval in an effort to win the Calder Cup. Alexander Romanov could even be considered when Joel Edmundson returns.
The youngsters could develop this season in a winning culture before joining the big club. A plan that would really benefit the youth and the organization in the long run.
This means that Michael Pezzetta and Alex Belzile will be back with the Rocket soon as well. Jean-François Houle could have a whole club to go a long way in the playoffs. If they didn't win the Stanley Cup last year, the Rocket could save the day this year.
