Several questions were floating around this morning at practice. Will Jonathan Drouin, Brendan Gallagher and Nick Suzuki be in the starting lineup tonight? Dominique Ducharme could not answer them.
He only mentioned that everything will be decided during the warm-up period. This means that the Habs could be without three of its best forwards... Fingers crossed.
Ducharme did confirm the identity of his starting goaltender, Jake Allen. He had a tough game against the Islanders, but he will be back in his position tonight.
One would have thought that Samuel Montembeault would get the start, as he performed the starting goalie routine at practice this morning. Anything to mix up the many reporters on hand. 😂
The head coach confirmed that the defense will be the same as last game for the Montreal Canadiens.
As for Carey Price, he will be back on Monday, as planned, but he will not meet the media for now. He must wait for the green light from the doctors.
