Charlie Lindgren is living happily under the circumstances, he who came from Springfield to take over in front of the Blues' net. So far, in three outings, he has picked up three wins, including a VERY satisfying one against the Montreal Canadiens.
The 27-year-old netminder spoke about his time with the Habs, having hit rock bottom with them.
"I followed (my) plan. There were some frustrating moments, some dark periods even, you could say. But I have such a good support network and I say it often: my family and friends keep pushing me. It makes a big difference," said Lindgren.
You can so understand the feeling he had during his last moments in the Montreal Canadiens organization, who was thrown out like a hot potato. The depth in front of the net drove him out of the Montreal organization.
In short, congratulations to Lindgren for his mental strength since he succeeded in his goal, which is to impose himself in front of an NHL net. With the absence of Jordan Binnington and Ville Husso, he capitalized well when called upon.
