After a big game against the St. Louis Blues and a much needed day off yesterday, the Montreal Canadiens will be back at work today for a practice and tomorrow to face the Minnesota Wild.
After the big win in St-Louis, the Habs players were able to decompress a bit, and this was the case for the young forward Cole Caufield, who made fans laugh via social networks.
A few minutes after the end of the game, he shared this:
And he added:
It got a good laugh for the fans, and it's always fun to watch. You understand that the sequence in question occurred during Saturday's duel.
Caufield got picked up (and thrown into the boards) by diminutive defenseman Torey Krug. A confrontation between a 5'9" defenseman and a 5'7" forward.
What's hilarious is that Caufield was probably still in the Montreal Canadiens locker room after the game when this was posted. We love it!
Let's remember that Caufield had the last laugh. He really hurt the Blues, as he scored two more goals.
