Unlike the Montreal Canadiens, Connor McDavid is having quite the start to the 2021-2022 campaign. Number 97 is all fired up like his team, which is undefeated in five outings.
"McJesus" has 13 points, including 6 goals, in 5 games since the start of the season. He has averaged over two points per game so far, which is phenomenal!
Imagine, McDavid's 13 points is a higher total than the entire Montreal Canadiens roster with 12 points. These stats are not great for Dominique Ducharme's team, but they are legitimate considering their 0-5 record. When Brett Kulak is your second leading scorer with two points...
There is no doubt that the Habs will start scoring goals soon, as a team is never constantly on the skids during a season. There will be tougher times, like right now. As they say, after the rain comes the good weather.
