Dominique Ducharme has decided to drop Michael Pezzetta from the lineup and add Chris Wideman, which means that the Habs will play with 11 forwards and seven defensemen against the Nashville Predators tonight.
Wideman is one of the only players who can activate the Montreal defense, so he is very useful.
In front of the net, Ducharme will "trust" Samuel Montembeault as the options in front of the net are currently very slim.
Logically, the combinations should be as follows on Saturday night:
Toffoli - Suzuki - Caufield
Drouin - Dvorak - Anderson
Lehkonen - Evans - Gallagher
Poehling - Armia
Chiarot - Petry
Romanov - Kulak
Norlinder - Savard
Wideman
The Chief Pilot also gave an update on Carey Price stating that the 31 was not ready to rejoin next week.
We're taking our time on the Price issue, then it's perfect that way!
