But as Charles-Alexis Brisebois of Danslescoulisses.com reports, Josh Anderson's name could very well be at the center of some trade rumors.
During his column on Dailyfaceoff, insider Frank Seravalli went into it with his list of 25 players who could very well be traded between now and the next draft. Since he is so knowledgeable, we imagine he placed 25 names that are on the NHL trade market.
On this list, we find three Canadiens players: Jeff Petry at number 11, Shea Weber at number 20 (Weber's contract) and finally Josh Anderson at number 24. Josh is a surprise name on this list.
This does not mean that number 17 will leave the Habs this summer, but Seravalli says that several teams have called Kent Hughes in recent weeks to inquire about the availability of the right winger who scored 19 goals this season.
Anderson has established himself as a leader with the CH this season and it is obvious that the team's management will not let him leave unless they receive an extraordinary offer for his services.
Some experts even talked during the season that Anderson was sort of the Chris Kreider of the Habs and that he could eventually explode in terms of his production on offense.
In this case, it is much better to keep such a player on your team and see what he will bring in the next few seasons.
