In an interview last night on "NHL on TNT", National Hockey League commissioner Gary Bettman destroyed the name of one of the best players in his league, and the video went viral.
When talking about Cale Makar, probably one of the five best players in the world, Bettman mentioned the name "Caleb Makar".
It's obviously not the end of the world, but it does give the fans a good laugh and made for a nice little TV moment as well as a nice "blooper."
At least he can say he didn't make a mistake with Connor McDavid's name.
The video from the Spittin Chiclets guys ends early, but after that little mistake by the commissioner, there's a bit of hilarious discomfort on the set as the other five speakers really seem to be wondering if they're taking back Mr. Bettman or just letting it go.
They opted not too!
