For the past few days, the Jonathan Drouin file has been the talk of the town. The Quebecer was not placed on one of the club's four regular trios by head coach Martin St-Louis.

However, it seems that the forward could be back in the lineup soon since St-Louis did not resign in his case.

"Jonathan Drouin is in my plans. He still has the potential, it's about helping him reach it."- Martin St-Louis

If the case of Drouin is heavily discussed in Quebec, it is also across the league. According to what Patrick Lortie, a journalist and independent NHL informant, reported, an executive of the league mentioned to him not at all surprised by the situation.

"I'm not surprised (that he's cut). His mind seems elsewhere..."

It's not a good sign for Kent Hughes if he wants to trade the CH's new No. 27. When a member of an opposing team notices that Drouin does not seem to be in his mind, it will be difficult to pass it in a transaction.

Drouin was seen this Tuesday at the end of the bench, forced to watch the power play practice without even participating...

Let's hope St. Louis' plan succeeds and he can bring up, at least a little, the forward's value.
