Pierre LeBrun chatted with Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon and, of course, Dundon went back to the monstrous offer that Don Waddell, his general manager, made to Jesperi Kotkaniemi. Not too surprisingly, he made it clear that this proposal, although out of proportion, was not a revenge for the offer sheet to Sebastian Aho in 2019.

Yeah, what else? Does he think we're that naive?

Following all this, did Dundon and Geoff Molson have a conversation? According to the man behind the Canes, Molson did not seem interested in opening a dialogue to bury the hatchet.

"I haven't talked to him - I'd be happy to - but I haven't talked to him about it!"

Yes, yes, that's him trying to reach out to Mr. Molson!

"Yes, I made a call. But I haven't talked to him yet!" -Tom Dundon

So if he made a call to the Habs' front office, Mr. Molson's secretary told him he was unavailable when she saw the name Dundon on the caller ID? Hahaha! As a result of that, Molson threw out the post-it, right? I'm kidding, obviously, but the picture of the situation makes sense!
