Is Jake Allen worth more than Carey Price?

Stéphane Waite, who has become a «star» since his dismissal, appeared on the set of the Antichambre, where he talked about the value of the Montreal goalkeepers, Jake Allen and Carey Price.
The voluble man pointed out that at this time, Jake Allen's value was very high on the market because of his salary and his prowess during this continuing storm that hit the Habs.
Allen earns an annual salary of $2.875 million until 2023, which remains VERY attractive for a second goalie. What makes him even more attractive is that he lifted a Stanley Cup. No, he wasn't designed as the main guardian, but he was in the environment of a winning team full of character.
In short, since Carey Price is on the injured reserve right now, Allen's value is certainly higher because of all the circumstances listed by Mr. Waite. By the deadline, Jeff Gorton could get quite a comeback for his 31-year-old goaltender.
