It would be confirmed for Arber Xhekaj
With all that happened during training camp, with the negative comments and surprises, many Montreal Canadiens fans were worried about not seeing Arber Xhekaj in the lineup to start the season.
It's worth noting that some experts didn't rule out the possibility of Xhekaj starting the season with the Laval Rocket, especially because of the surplus of left-handed defensemen in the lineup.
In short, despite all this, it would be confirmed for Xhekaj.
He would indeed be with the Canadiens for the inaugural match on October 11th against the Maple Leafs.
Even this morning, just a few days before the start of the season, during practice, Xhekaj was regularly paired with the young Jordan Harris.
