Notably, on the possibility of trading his first overall pick:

Also, there was a nice little lighter moment, when a reporter from NHL.com asked him if he would draft his son, Jack Hughes, with the first overall pick.

So the Tricolore GM promised and confirmed that his son Jack will not be the first overall pick for Montreal.

Jack Hughes wasted no time in responding to his father, via Twitter, by telling him that he is making a serious mistake with this decision.

"Big mistake! @CanadiensMTL" - Jack Hughes

Jack Hughes went from being the seventh best skater in North America, to 26th, in the most recent NHL Central Scouting list.

The center plays for Northeastern University. He has 16 points in 39 games this season. The Habs could possibly draft him in the second round if they really want to.
