As for Klingberg, some Canadian fans are following the file very closely and they believe that the Swedish defenseman may have just revealed his new destination. (and they are very happy)
As Marco Normandin reports, we have some very interesting new clues.
After having removed all traces (or almost) of the Stars, on his social networks, here is that he just followed the account of the Swedish defenseman of the Calgary Flames, Oliver Kylington.
Coincidence? Maybe. It wasn't worth an article.
On the other hand, it's quite an adon that in addition to Kylington, today Klingberg followed the accounts of: Elias Lindholm, Mikael Backlund, Blake Coleman and Jacob Markstrom. Well, this is getting really interesting.
Of course, we are talking about five Calgary Flames players.
Are the Flames about to announce the signing of defenseman John Klingberg? Don't be surprised if they do.
Remember of course that with the departure of elite player Johnny Gaudreau, for Columbus, Calgary finds itself with a lot of space under the ceiling.
Klingberg, 29, has 374 points (71 goals) in 552 NHL games, including 148 with a man advantage. He has produced at rates of 52 and 56 points (per 82 games) over the past two seasons.
It would be really interesting to see him land in Canada.
