Those who know Justin Bieber well know that he is a sports fan. He is an outspoken Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and recently he even taunted CH fans.

On Friday, tipster Elliotte Friedman and host Jeff Marek discussed the ownership situation in Ottawa following the death earlier this week of Eugene Melnyk. It didn't take long after that death for rumors of the franchise moving to Quebec City to begin. There is even speculation that the Senators could play five games next season at the Videotron Centre.

Friedman mentioned, however, that it would be surprising if the organization moved in the next few years. However, Marek revealed that Justin Bieber might have the idea to acquire the Senators.

That would be pretty fun to watch. Imagine if that happened and the singer managed to convince his close friend, Auston Matthews, to sign with Ottawa once he becomes a free agent?

On Thursday, Friedman mentioned in his 32Thoughts column that he thought Matthews would sign with Toronto as long as he believes in the team's direction. Perhaps Bieber could turn things around... One thing is certain, the singer has big ambitions!

Matthews' contract expires in 2025, so there's plenty of time for the forward to figure out the future of the Leafs' organization. The Leafs will have to prove to Matthews that they can compete for the playoffs and the Stanley Cup...

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Bieber has a net worth of $285M. He will definitely have to find business partners if he really wants to buy an NHL organization.

The Senators deal will be an interesting one to follow. It will all depend on the Melnyk girls' plans with the franchise. Gary Bettman will be meeting with them soon to discuss all this!
