In the last few minutes, we have learned that three players are now available on waivers.

The following players are available to be acquired by an NHL team for free right now: Zach Sanford, Magnus Hellberg and Wayne Simmonds.

Magnus Hellberg

Hellberg, 31 and drafted 38th overall in 2011, is a 6-foot-6 goalie who has played 6 career games in the NHL.

He has been dominant in the KHL, posting an efficiency rate between .917 and .940 for the past five years, and has played one game with the Sens this season (one win and a solid .935 efficiency percentage).

Zach Sanford

Sanford, 28, is 6-foot-4, and was drafted in the second round in 2013. He has 48 goals and 97 points in 297 career NHL games.

This season, he has 2 points in 8 games with the Nashville Preds.

Wayne Simmonds

Simmonds, 34, is a veteran of 1,023 career NHL games that you know well (263 goals and 525 total points). This season, he has 1 point in 4 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
