We just had a major development at the Montreal Canadiens morning practice regarding young defenseman Kaiden Guhle.
Not only is he present, but he is wearing a regular jersey (he can receive contact).
This is great news and a strong indication that he will be there for tonight's game against the New York Rangers.
Major backup for Martin St. Louis
Let's remember that some were worried that the young Guhle would have to miss quite a bit of time again, but that won't have been the case in the end. We weren't necessarily expecting him back anytime soon, but everything indicates that he will play as soon as tonight:
"Kaiden Guhle is not wearing his non-contact jersey. Since Jordan Harris (lower body) won't be there tonight and no one has been recalled, that suggests Guhle could face the Rangers." - Marc Antoine Godin More details to follow.
"Kaiden Guhle jumps on the ice for morning practice. He's wearing a regular jersey.
Possible comeback against the Rangers." - J-F Chaumont
