Major development in front of the Canadiens' net: the organization makes a big announcement concerning Jakub Dobes

Here is the official announcement from the Montreal Canadiens:
"The Canadiens have agreed to terms on a two-year entry-level contract (2023-2024 to 2024-2025) with goaltender Jakub Dobes."

Please also note another very important point:
"Dobes has also signed an agreement with the Laval Rocket, allowing him to finish the season in the AHL.
At 21 years old, the 6'5" and 197 lb goaltender posted a 21-16-3 record in 40 games with Ohio State University in the Big 10 division of the NCAA. Dobes had a goals against average of 2.31 and a save percentage of .918, in addition to recording three shutouts."

Dobes could also join the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League. He officially enters the picture for the goaltenders of the Canadiens and the Rocket!
The contract has an average annual value of $925,000.
