Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin was on 91.9 Sports with Martin Lemay to talk about several hot topics in the organization. He gave an update on the future of Cole Caufield and Jordan Harris with the Habs.
Cole Caufield has played two games since he was recalled by the Tricolore. So far, he's had some good offensive sequences, but has not collected any points. He has also accumulated a -4 rating in those two games.
Marc Bergevin was VERY clear on this one. The Habs will evaluate him for a few games and if he doesn't get back to the level he was in the playoffs, he will return to Laval. A statement that may take the smile off the 20-year-old's face.
The Habs general manager admitted that he had very little power in the Jordan Harris file. He said that everything depends on the American defenseman's wishes.
He was even less optimistic about Carey Price. According to him, it would be very surprising to see him before the holidays...
